Details: I´m selling my 2001 Acura CL Type S with the 3.2 liter VTEC 6 Cylinder motor and 5 speed automatic transmission. It has just under 183,000 miles on the 3.2 liter VTEC engine which puts out 260 Horsepower and is exceptionally reliable. It starts, idles and runs perfectly with absolutely ZERO issues. It doesn´t leak, burn or use any fluids. The transmission was replaced by the dealer under recall warranty about 60,000 miles ago and it shifts great. It´s the Type S so it does have an extra 40 Horsepower, 15 ft/lbs of torque, firmer shifting transmission, 17-inch wheels, a firmer suspension, slightly larger brakes, and firmer seats than the base CL. I´m a maintenance junky and religiously change the oil every 3,000 Miles with Mobil One Synthetic and I flush the transmission every 15,000 miles. I have also replace the timming belt and completed all other major service at the appropriate intervals. If your familiar with these 3.2 liter VTEC Motors you know they are built to run for a long time. With 183000 miles this thing runs as good as the day it was new. These engines are all over the place with 300,000 or more miles. The body is in good shape with very few nicks but there is some rock chips on the hood that could use touched up. Inside the car is in real nice shape with only a couple minor flaws in the driver´s seat and it´s equipped with tan leather interior, power drivers and passenger seat, aftermarket CD player with factory Bose speaker and amp, heated seats, a/c, cruise, tilt, power sunroof and dark window tint. There is an ABS and VSA light on the dash that has been on for a long time but it doesn´t affect how the car drives. I suspect one of the ABS sensors probably needs replaced but I´m not sure. All in all this is a really nice car and should serve someone very well for years to come. If you have any questions or would like to see additional pictures please let me know. I have a clear title in hand. I would also be interested in trading for the right cruiser style motorcycle or a vehicle with third row seating.Thanks for looking!
