Details: Time to part ways with my 1996 Acura SLX. I´ve owned this vehicle since 1998. Motor and body has 288,2XX miles on it, mostly highway miles. This truck is great during winter! Goes through snow without sliding or getting stuck. The 4x4 works great with winter drive and power drive. Just a week ago, my battery gauge started fluctuating weird which causes to drive to lose power. I´m not a mechanic but for someone who knows cars and engines would really benefit from this SUV! The engines lifter does tick but it hasn´t given me any problems for the past ten years, the ABS unit leaks so I have to fill it with brake fluid every 3-4 days or so. The body is in great shape, minor scratches and door dings. It has some rusts from dings. Features: It has a towing package, new axles, new battery, new alternator (both less than a year old), just oil changed last week, tires are all Bridgestone bought from Sears 2 years ago still with okay threads. Comes with detachable face Sony Explod mp3 head unit, a Sony 10 disc cd changer, two 10´ Kicker subs with a Pioneer mono amp, and all Kenwood mids and highs.I´m only asking $1800 O.B.O. Details: I am selling my 2002 Acura TL Type-S. The exterior color is Aegean Blue Pearl (a Type-S only color) with a Ebony interior. The car is loaded pretty nice. Leather interior, BOSE sound system, HID headlights, 5 speed automatic, and a 260hp 3.2L HO V6 that achieves 27mpg+ on the highway. It has been a very reliable care for the last 8 years that I have owned it. I have had no issues to date beyond routine maintenance that were not covered under warranty and completed at an Acura dealership. The mileage is just over 173k. This has been a daily driver for my wife and I since it was purchased used with roughly 36k miles about 8 years ago. The previous owner maintained detailed service records. I have performed all the maintenance since then. I complete regular oil changes using only Mobile 1 synthetic oil and filter have only used premium gas since owning it. The interior condition is very good. The carpet has some staining from years of use, but because it´s black, it is hard to see. The drivers mat and one in the back seat show the worst of the stains. The leather and other interior components look great. There is only a small tear on the front of the driver´s seat, which is remarkable considering how much that seat has been used. The exterior is in good shape. There are the usual stone ships on the front of the car. There is minor, but noticeable damage to the front driver´s side fender and scratches on the door from where another car backed into my car. I have a couple pictures to show what that looks like. The tires look bad, but are not. There is a defect on the sidewall of the tires, but they still hold enough air that I only check them once every couple months.I will upload some pictures tonight.
