Details: Purchased 1992 Acura legend Coupe for my son August 2010 with 210,000 miles on it for restoration project. After 1 1/2 yrs he doesn´t want it. (Will post pics shortly - stock pic of same model shown) Grey pearl metallic exterior, black leather interior. Aftermarket rims 16´ low profile tires. Current mileage 213,000. In the last 18 months this has been replaced - all front end suspension, CV joints, ball joints, new radiator, new water pump,timing belt, acc belt, new battery, head gasket replaced, thermostat - upper engine (both heads) rebuilt with new exhaust valves. Fuel pump replaced, main relay replaced, Amost eveything under the hood has been rebuilt or replaced. A/C condenser replacedAll New tires, pads and slotted rotors - transmission flushed and trans filter replaced. Brake booster & master cylinder replaced. Aftermarket Pioneer with removable face with two amps and bass box in truck. Many electrical items replaced, drivers seat was ripped - replaced trashed seat panels at local leather repair. New floor mats - That´s the goodNow for the Not so good - if I was keeping the car, I would replace struts, maybe springs - paint is decent for age of the car but could use minor work over one of the rear wheel well. I would replace the after market wheels as they are starting to oxidize and will cause very slow leak that needs air every few weeks. Dash has large crack over speedometer (sun), could use dash cover or replace dash via ebay. The engine runs without smoke or overheating but I can not locate a small vacuum leak, so the air fuel ratio isn´t perfect. I´ve put almost $4,500 in the car since starting restoring it. The paint and struts were to be the last thing done before letting my son drive it. Not looking to put anymore money into it, so my loss is someone else´s gain. Looking to trade for a Honda Accord or Civic - something that gets good gas mileage and it midsize or smaller. Cash price is a possiblity also - somewhere around $2,300 + Prefer email Would be great car to finish for someone that works on Legends or has time to finish tweaking the engine.
